Set Up Team
The set up team is a men’s ministry that sets up all of the necessary equipment for our Sunday morning church services. Each team is made up of 3 men who arrive at 8:45am on the Sunday they are assigned to set up the sound equipment, signs, chairs and tables. The set up team is also responsible for breaking down and putting into storage all the equipment and supplies at the end of service.
Nursery
Sacred Journey’s nursery is a women’s ministry that cares for children ages 0-3 years old during the Sunday morning church service. Teams of 2-3 women arrive at 10am on the Sunday morning they are assigned to set up the Nursery room. As parents arrive with their children and check them into Nursery, each are given matching number tags for security purposes. The children are then supervised as they play and interact while their parents are free to join the service in our main room. Any bathroom visits, diaper changing, or disciplinary needs are solely the parent’s responsibility. The number assigned to any child needing parental care is communicated to the A/V team and then projected on the screen during service to call then parents to the nursery.
Children’s Church
Children’s church is a ministry for children ages 4-9 and takes place from the time of music concludes in our main meeting room until the end of service. Men and women are encouraged to be part of this ministry and will be placed in teams of 2-3 and serve on a rotating schedule. Children’s Church consists of singing, led by a separate musician from the church, a Bible story, prayer time and various activities to keep the children engaged and learning God’s truth.
