Blog Comment Policy
In Sacred Journey's blogs, we encourage open and challenging discussion. For the respect and well-being of each other and the discussions we have set up a little guideline to follow. If you find that your comment has been disabled, or your commenting privileges removed, it means a moderator believes that you have violating one or more of the following guidelines:

Anonymous posting
- Anonymity tends to bring out the worst in people. Something about knowing that you have the world at your fingertips, and you can say whatever you want without anyone knowing who you are makes people lose all restraint and respect. Therefore, we require valid email addresses with every comment. These email addresses will not be shown publicly, but will be used to warn you privately if a guideline was violated. And we promise we will not sell your email address ;)

Stay on Topic
- Before you post a comment, please make sure you are relevant to the discussion and original blog post. If we posted on missional finances, and you do a drive-by comment about how the KJV is superior, expect your comment to be swiftly closed.

Debate points, not people
- We encourage challenging debates, however, a healthy debate can go sour when personal attacks come in to play. If you disagree with a post or a commenter, resist the urge to defame or tear them down personally. Be mature, and address the points.

Don't feed trolls
- A troll is someone on the internet who's existence is to cause trouble and contrevsy. You can find ample examples of trolls in YouTube comments. They are not engaging in discussion, they are trying to get a rise out of people. Do not add more fuel to the fire by engaging them on their own terms.

Spam
- This is a given, but if you advertise a service or website, expect your post to get deleted and your ip to be banned.
